Inventorial Equipment

Items over $5,000 will be issued an Asset Inventory Tag. These tags will come to the Facilities Office. The Facilities Manager will schedule a time to meet with you to place the Asset Inventory Tag and collect other pertinent information from the item.

The location and status of the equipment must be logged at all times. Should the item be temporarily moved from its "home", the new location, date of move, date due back, date actually returned and status need to be logged. See SAMPLE Equipment Log Form.

Should items with an Asset Inventory Tag run their useful life and need to be removed from service, contact the Facilities Manager to coordinate removal of the item from the Campus Inventory and proper disposal.
